Jim Manzi, a software entrepreneur, has an interesting take on how innovation policy in the USA can be coupled to national economic recovery. The question: how can the demands of  dynamic innovation with the creative destuction entailed be coupled with the countervailing demands of social justice? A multifactorial problem with a multifactorial solution; Manzi places a particular emphasis on the development of talent rather than simply skill.
